Midsumma 2009 - A Queer Coming of Age
In 2009, Midsumma will be turning 21. With this in mind we saw the
importance of asking our community how they interpret and celebrate the
transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Turning 21 is a memorable
milestone for most. The rituals and symbolism associated with this rite
of passage are numerous - not to mention the embarrassing speeches and
power point presentations!
Independent artists, producers, community groups and organisations, we
ask you to consider this theme as you choose how you might participate
in the 2009 open access Community Produced Events program.
Help chase away those Winter blues with one of the
current MidWinter events.
