Midsumma is now calling for scripts and directors for the 2010 production of Pink Shorts, Midsumma's Queer Short Play Competition, which will run for one week in early February 2010.

Scripts should be themed with a queer angle, run for a maximum
of 10 minutes and not have been seen in Melbourne before. Submissions are
welcome regardless of your past experience: scripts are judged on the
quality of the writing, not on the experience of the writer!

Pink Shorts will give you the opportunity to work with other
performers
and directors, and have your work come to life
in a Melbourne Theatre
during the festival. Pink Shorts is the
perfect launch pad to take your
talents to the next level.
