GOLDEN BABETIME is a new addition to the Midsumma Program, a CARNIVAL AFTERPARTY, curated as a collaboration between local queer events, Grouse Party and Danceteria and catering more to the ladies and the queer underground.

GOLDEN BABETIME takes you from Birrarung Marr to Beer-among Babes, following on after the sun sets on Carnival, kicking off from 6pm on SUNDAY 15 JANUARY at indoor/outdoor CBD oasis, THE DECK.

GROUSE PARTY and DANCETERIA organisers will be playing special edition WIFESWAP DJ SETS, swapping partners to team up as duos and compete for your dancefloor affection.

First bout: The Whiskeys! WHISKEY HOUSTON (Danceteria) and WHISKY BUSINESS (Grouse) will be going shot for shot, slammin' em down hard'n'fast, pouring out 100-proof of party tunes.

Next in the ring, ANN OMINOUS (Grouse) and LEATHER LOCKLEAR (Danceteria), a mane attraction that will show us that all is hair in love and war.

PLUS very special guest DJs JESS McGUIRE of Triple R Breakfasters, a late set from BITCH PREASE, and an opener from SOOKIE SMACKHOUSE!
