How To Book Midsumma Tickets
You can buy tickets online for any event that has the Buy Tickets button displayed. If you've purchased tickets via midsumma.org.au in the past or you are a Midsumma member, your details will already be on our system enabling you to sign-in to avoid needing to enter your details each time you book.
Signing into the booking page has the following advantages:
- You are only required to add your contact details once and will never have to re-enter them again no matter how many times you purchase.
- You can review past transactions.
- You can recreate Print at Home tickets and Confirmation emails.
- For Midsumma members/VIP's, your discounted prices will be displayed once you sign in.
- You can update your personal details.
First Time Customers
Click on the Buy Tickets button. Once the event details appear, click on "buy now" to make your selection(s) then follow the prompts.
Returning Customers
Click on the Buy Tickets button. To access your account, click sign in on the top right of the page and log in using the email address you used in the past. The very first time, you will need to select Returning customer, but no password yet? and follow the prompts, otherwise enter your email address and password then follow the prompts.
More About Ordering
Prior to finalising your order, you will have the option to Purchase additional tickets: "to this event" or "to another event". If you select "to another event", a list of all ticketed Midsumma events will be displayed for you to make further selections. The "to this event" option can be used to purchase tickets for different dates to the same event. Once you've made all your selections, enter the Credit Card and Contact details then press Finalise Order to complete your session. A booking fee of $2.50 applies per session - a session being all the tickets that you add to your shopping basket prior to pressing Finalise Order. So try to group your bookings to minimise booking fees. Click on Midsumma Ticketing Terms & Conditions to preview those now - a copy can also be viewed while making a purchase.

The box office in the Midsumma office is manned from early January until the end of the festival.

Ticket Collection
Most tickets sold via midsumma festival need to be collected from the venue box office. In some cases tickets can be printed at home. Box office queues can be long, so when picking up prepaid tickets, allow ample time to collect tickets and take your seat prior to the event start time. Please bring the credit card used for purchase and some photo ID.
Concession Prices
Many events indicate that concession prices are available. These apply to full-time students, full pensioners, Senior Card holders and the unemployed. Proof of eligibility is required.
Companion Cards
Some events display the Companion Card logo ( 
). Companion Card holders should order their tickets via the Midsumma Box Office.
