The City of Melbourne has reinforced its commitment to being an inclusive and engaging city by supporting a Relationship Declaration Register. The Relationship Declaration Register launched on Monday, 2 April 2007 means couples of both mixed-sex and same-sex can now formally declare their relationships. To apply to register your relationship, couples are required to read the guidelines, fill out an application form and visit the town hall to formally sign a certificate of declaration.
