A Partnership Between the City of Darebin and Midsumma

Welcome to Taking You Places. Here, people from the GLBTI community in Darebin (and beyond) can document a ‘GBLTI friendly’ outing they have taken with a family member.

Inspired by the fact that some homophobic attitudes can begin within the home, Taking You Places seeks to get family members out of the closet.

The journey is simple. Participants select an outing, ask a family member out, and document the experience in whatever web friendly form takes their fancy. Anyone can submit their story.
