An exhibition of LGBTQIA+ portraits and flowers

Queer Floriography is an exhibition of LGBTQIA+ portraits capturing members of the LGBTQIA+ community through a specific flower.

Each model is assigned a flower based on the Victorian "Floriography code”. The chosen flower reflects the unique personality of the subject.

The paintings feature the model’s portrait intertwined with a painting of the chosen flower.

Lyndon is a Yarra-based artist who primarily paints and draws the human figure and portraits. After graduating from art school, Lyndon has exhibited in multiple group shows and solo exhibitions including art spaces in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy and an event space in Malvern.
