‘I am grateful for this vessel, yet I am detached. I’m feeling outside of myself again. I guess I had forgotten how strange and time sensitive this can be.’

To extract queerness is complex, yet in friendship it brings solace, and vastly similar struggles rise to the surface. 'Body Irrelevant' is a conversation between friends in their attempt to explain uncover the aesthetic currency of queerness and how they themselves are subject to the ever-changing nature of gender, sex and love.

Previously listed as Irrelevant Body, Lay Beneath You, 'Body Irrelevant' is a combination of melodrama, film, poetry, performance art and sit-down conversations. Ez Kenworthy and Jay Gold welcome you to their bedroom for a night, to observe them in their most vulnerable state.

Make a night of it at The Motley Bauhaus - see The Last Brunch at 8:30pm also!
