Return of the smash-hit festivalette hosted by award winning comedian Lou Wall!
We’re back, we’re vaxxed and with brand new acts!
Midsumma Festival’s smash-hit Get Bent Fest! returns with its one-night-only gala extravaganza serving you a new and even more delicious line-up of Melbourne finest queer acts.
Jump in the tub with award-winning comedian Lou Wall for an exclusive, one-night-only event that brings together festival favourites from the Midsumma Festival program plus our dearest and queerest performers from beyond! After selling out last year to rave reviews, Get Bent Fest! saunters back into the ballroom promising you a raucous night of queer comedy, drama, drag and more, plus DJs hailing from across the rainbow road together in one screamingly over-the-top festivalette. Missed a show or CBF watching the whole thing? Try it bite size at Get Bent baby!
Bust the binary! Smash supremacy! Ride the rainbow! And Get Bent at Common Rooms Ballroom for baby’s first covid-free kiki. Oh happy gay!
Get Bent Fest! is presented in collaboration with Midsumma Festival and is dedicated to celebrating diversity and intersectionality within the queer community. We proudly elevate and amplify creative voices from the queer margins while promising a safe and vibrant space for audiences to be amazed and inspired. Including you, babes.
