Let's Eat Cake

Community making history for Marriage Equality

“It’s personal. I have always marched and felt it important to document our journey, our fight for marriage equality. I am thrilled it has happened in my (our) lifetime ..”

Maylei Hunt is a Social Documentary Photographer. This historical exhibition celebrates and commemorates the community who were part of the marriage equality campaign through the marches in Melbourne and Sydney and follows our journey to the change of law at Parliament House in Canberra in December 2017.

Exhibition activities include an opening event, artist talk and street photography workshops, plus a hands-on multimedia program ‘Creative Hearts’, for more information see melton.vic.gov.au/letseatcake.
