Making Art, Words and Stories
Emerging young artists take the lead.
Four queer and diverse young artists each facilitate a workshop on their individual practice, intersecting at the ways in which their art expresses their identities. Featuring ceramicists, visual artists, theatre makers and poets, this youth-led and youth-centred event is ideal for anyone aged 12-25 with an eagerness to get creative and connect with community.
Emilia McSherry (they/she), Nicola Ingram (she/her), Scarlett Davidson (she/they) and Mia Boonen (she/her) are all multidisciplinary emerging artists, keen to get back to the studio and make art with their community.
This event includes an hour lunch break, in which participants and facilitators can share a meal, chat and connect with one another after so many months of working on Zoom.
Registrations close midnight 25 Jan, so that workshop materials can be mailed to participants.
