Join us IN PERSON (omg) at the Immigration Museum for a day of craft workshops, fun activities, and exploring the Becoming You Exhibition

Night at the Museum is around the corner... and now we’re bringing you DAY at the Museum too!
Even if we're unable to host our Night at the Museum dance party in person, we know our LGBTQIA+ youth community (that's you!) is itching for an IRL chance to meet up.

So, what could be more perfect than an in-person Day at the Museum alongside our digital dance party?

On Wednesday 13 April (the week after Night at the Museum), you can expect a low-touch, socially-distanced DAY at the Museum for folks to come along, say hi to us and our Young Leaders, explore the amazing Becoming You exhibition, pick up some free merch (more about that in a sec), do some drawing, and even participate in a craft workshop!

As you can imagine, this is not our usual dance party vibe. This will be a low-key day for you to come and go as you please – make the day whatever you'd like! This is for folks who feel ready to return to IRL hangs. And if you're not, join us online for Night at the Museum!

Here’s what you need to know:

  • In person, on Wednesday 13 April
  • 10.30am to 3.30pm – it's a whole day of activities, but you can stay for as little or as long as you want!
  • At Immigration Museum, Melbourne (a short walk from Flinders Street station!)
  • ALL DAY: Minus18 meet and greet stall + drawing activities (FREE)
  • ALL DAY: Explore the Becoming You exhibition (FREE)
  • 10.30am; 12pm; 2pm: Participate in a Clothes Revival Workshop with Abbey Rich for $5! (spots limited)

PLUS: we're giving away a FREE Minus18 handheld flag to the first 200 people who turn up on the day and show us their Eventbrite registration!
