Proud Home
Image featuring Joshua Marcus Stapleton
Take a step inside the homes of our queer community.
They say home is where the heart is and for many queer people our homes and spaces tell the story of who we are.
As an interior stylist and photographer, Joshua wanted to explore the journey queer people go through when moving from family homes or communities to their own safe spaces. Much like his own story, many queer people escape a place they once called home to create a place that represents them and their individuality.
Through a series of photographs of homes of different members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Joshua hopes you explore how the diverse spaces we make for ourselves as queer people, become the essence of who we are.
Proud Home is a photographic exhibition shot and curated by Joshua Marcus Stapleton of J;Marcus Design Studio.
