Queerantine in the Flesh

Still from 'Queery' Glynn Urquhart

Works from the online "Living in the Queerantine" series presented in the flesh.

Many LGBTQIA+ people have come from isolation, and combatted it with community and creativity. During COVID-19 lockdowns where we found ourselves once again isolated, Midsumma Festival commissioned ten artists to creatively respond online to living in an era of quarantine - now, in collaboration with ACMI, we're taking those artworks live.

Join us for this special exhibition event in the Swinburne Studio at the newly revamped ACMI museum of screen culture, featuring the works of 'Living in the Queerantine' and special activations including artist talks, panel discussions and live performances throughout the two days.
