Darby James Darby James presents a development reading of his fast-paced laugh-out-loud musical comedy cabaret about the process of sperm donation. As he embarks on a journey of genetic questionnaires and medical screening, Darby ponders the sticky questions about why we procreate and bring children into a chaotic world that could go up in flames at any second. Who might these children become? Evil geniuses? Cellist rugby ninjas? Karens and Darens? And while Darby isn’t ready to be a parent himself, he considers a future version of himself that might want to begin a nuclear family. This one-person show is sure to elicit eruptions of inappropriate laughter.
