Sweat is the new show from the creator of "Her... The Photographic Series"

Sweat is a series of photographic moments of pride in sport. Where equality is celebrated and respect is shown. The photographer has been granted access to photograph Victorian sporting clubs and teams during 2019 that include LGBTQIA+ players, students, coaches and participants. The exhibition will include an outdoor 'street gallery'.

"One of the most pivotal moments when developing this series of photographs was when I photographed martial arts students.  Learning self defence grants someone a feeling of self-assurance, safety, confidence and owning themselves, both physically and mentally. I photographed the group over a number of weeks leading up to their assessment. I was moved by the whole experience and so proud when they each received a higher ranking at the end of their final assessment. Pride, power, respect.   The energy within the room was powerfully poetic and I wanted the photography to express the rhythm of their movements."
