The Pier Festival
Queer Women's Music Festival
We are bringing you Melbourne's first ultimate Queer Women's Music Festival. Featuring Casey Donovan, Harlow & Hart, Mz Rizk, Tomboy DJ set, Miss Burlesque Australia aka Bettie Bombshell and live art activations by Lisa Bishop.
Immerse yourself in the festival vibes and enjoy market stalls, drinks & food trucks, community group activations, roving entertainment, and much much more.
Hosted by Bobby Macumber this is one event not to be missed. Held at the iconic Seaworks Williamstown located only 20min from the CBD, boasting stunning views of Melbourne's bay and the cityscape as our backdrop. Why not make a weekend of it and stay in this beachside location with beautiful tourist attractions, cafes, and accommodation available.
The Pier Festival's will showcase local and national queer women in music, queer women artists, queer women community groups and queer women business owners. Reconnecting our diverse communities during the shared experience is at the forefront of every aspect of the event. From fostering a sense of belonging by providing community involvement, to providing a safe and inclusive space where everyone is welcome.
- Can I bring my own food and alcohol? No, we have this covered! We have food by Curry Up Now, Splatters cheese boards, and 196 Below ice creams and deserts (and more!). We also have two bars - see our bar menu here.
- Is this event 18+? Yep, grab a sitter and take your wife dancing.
- Who can come? Anyone can come, who want to support queer women in music, and people who are comfortable with the experience being centered around queer women.
- How do I get there: Seaworks is located right next to the Williamstown Police Station. So don't be a fool and drink and drive. Plan your ride. Be safe because we need more QUEER VIBES to stay alive!
There is public transport options less than a 1 min walk from the venue. Get directions.
Don't want the fun to end? Keep the vibe flowing and the party rolling with The Pier Festival's official after-party located 50m's down the road at the World Travel Food Bar in Williamstown. Get your AFTER PARTY tickets here.
The Pier Festival is produced by the organisers of the popular eight-year running Girls at Sea, so join us and be reconnected with other queer women and their friends
