TROUGH celebrates 20 YEARS of shaking up the sex-positive gay dance scene - from its bold, yet humble beginnings in the basement of INFLATION (Geddes Lane) to Melbourne's most legendary men's cruise club CLUB80.

Co-founder Nik Dimopoulos, has devoted two long decades creating contemporary and boundary breaking fetish & kink photographic and video art promo material - as well as producing sex-positive parties that have pushed and advocated for under-represented queer dance music, way back when you could not have heard or experienced this kind of music and event unless you travelled to Berlin in the early 2000’s. Over the last 20 years, TROUGH has changed the landscape of clubbing and influenced the current wave of queer, techno, sex positive, dance parties of today.
