A night of riotous comedy and wonderful performance, no mansplaining required!

A huge queer night of life-affirming comedy featuring some of the very best female and non-binary identifying comedians in Melbourne today. Plus a couple of stunning Drag King performances as a festival bonus!

Melbourne is experiencing a golden age of queer talent and WOMYN OF COMEDY will showcase much of it, at one of the most inclusive and colourful venues imaginable.

This night will be a highlight of Midsumma 2023 as you can be guaranteed a queer comedian commenting on our queer lives will never be short of material. We can all use a few laughs after 2020 - 2022 too!

WOMYN OF COMEDY was a riot of fun in 2022 and expect an even bigger show this time around. Presented by Pride of our Footscray Community Bar in conjunction with Footscray Comedy Club, who run the renowned monthly queer "Pride Comedy" events at Pride throughout the year.
