Enjoy exclusive after-hours access to the gallery as Midsumma curates a vibrant line-up of performances, set against the NGV’s major international summer exhibition Westwood | Kawakubo – which explores the remarkable careers and creative outputs of two of fashion’s most influential designers, Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons.

Bendy Ben is an award-winning performance artist. Renowned for their innovative use of camouflage and masks within egalitarian choreographies of drag, Bendy’s iconic performances celebrate the duality of the feminine and masculine. Their work transcends traditional boundaries and has resonated across diverse commissions by major cultural institutions, festivals, and events, including Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Inc, Dark Mofo, NGV, ACCA, ACMI, Tourism Australia, Sydney Mardi Gras, Heaps Gay, and BARBA.
