Melbourne-based visual and motion designer “Kits in Motion” aka Blanca González (Paraguay) works across branding, editorial, product and video, with a practice that brings story, rhythm and design into motion. Her 2026 visual design commissioned by Midsumma captures “time and place” through layered textures that move like wind across echoes of Country, bark, stone, cloud, and the radiant energy of parade. Abstract, organic forms hint at faces and masks, while a sun breaks through as the emotional centre. Subtle references to the Victorian Pride Centre and a Yarra River threads together place, people and motion of the LGBTQIA+ arts and cultural community.
