Robert the Octopus

A queer surreal farce about looking for love. And an octopus.

Sadie has a crush on her co-worker Georgia. But they only ever see each other online. In a desperate attempt to capture Georgia’s attention, Sadie buys a pet octopus - Robert. Her ploy works and Georgia comes to visit. Socially awkward, and unsure of how to woo Georgia, Sadie turns to Robert for help. A comedy of error ensues.

Robert the Octopus is a fast paced, laugh out loud play about pet ownership and the struggles of dating.

From the creative team behind award winning shows Stickybeak and Rakali, and queer physical comedy legends PO PO MO CO.

This brand new play by emerging queer playwright Alex Duncan is not to be missed.

Starring Lily Fish, Mich McCowage, Hallie Goodman.

Directed by Kimberley Twiner (PO PO MO CO, The Travelling Sisters)
