About Govind Pillai

Govind is a classical Indian dancer and teacher with an international track record of sell-out productions and festival appearances. Govind is passionate about the incredible power of dance to tell important stories and to share who we are with one another.

Critically acclaimed for crafting visually beautiful, moving, educational and uplifting works for children and adults alike - Govind draws from his lineage in classical Indian dance but subverts and contests it, to explore important themes such as colonisation, gender diversity, prejudice, sexuality, identity and self-expression.

About Cerulean

Cerulean is one of Melbourne’s most dynamic, bubbly and vibrant conceptual drag artists bringing a refreshing cloud of excitement and joy to the stage. As the current reigning winner of the national Miss First Nations pageant, she is set to propel her way into shaping the future of drag.
