Baylie Carson: Queer Is A Battlefield
Image: by Harvey House
"A tornado made human, wreaking havoc across the stage!"
London West End’s star of Ride the Cyclone, Mean Girls the Musical and S!X the Musical, Baylie Carson returns to Melbourne with an all new celebratory tale of their journey through queer identity. Using the hairbrush songs of the 80s, The Voice Australia contestant's once-in-a-generation vocal prowess is joined by a live rock band.
“Carson is unbridled chaos. A tornado made human, wreaking havoc across the stage and having a whale of a time doing it. Carson bounds around the stage with a childish, puckish glee, lolloping as if only recently having learnt how to walk. They are a force of nature.”
"A stellar performance, superb characterisation and rais(es) the roof with exceptional vocal skills!"
