Glamourhead Sharks “Give Swimming a Go” Day

Ever wanted to give swimming a go?

Melbourne’s Glamourhead Sharks is a club for all swimming queers and their allies. This Midsumma the Glams are putting on a free 90 minute swim clinic at Fitzroy Pool on Saturday 10 February from 9:30am. You don’t need to be a super fish to enjoy swimming. We will have a number of lanes for differing levels of experience. For beginners there will be coaches on hand to give you tips on how to swim easier. Our coaches will take you through some simple swimming drills and introduce you to a few strokes other than freestyle. For those who are a bit more confident in their swimming, some of our squad will be there to join you in some of the typical sets we would do in a regular training session.
