Playback: TGD Takes on Identity and Industry, is a dynamic panel event celebrating trans and gender diverse (TGD) creators working across Victoria’s screen and audio industries.
Presented by WIFT Vic and Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo and Beyond, Playback brings together regional and metro TGD creatives to share stories, insights, and intergenerational knowledge.
Hosted by Bendigo-based performer and advocate Benjamin MacEllen, the event features engaging conversations with filmmaker Mitch Nivalis, ABC’s Jean Tong, intimacy coordinator Bayley Turner, WIFT Vic’s Julie Peters, and more.
Held during Trans Awareness Week 2025, Playback is more than a panel, it’s a joyful space for connection, visibility, and industry transformation.
