Picture Me is on a mission to spark visibility and unlock opportunity in regional and rural areas by creating community through playful self-expression, one joyful event at a time.

Picture Me is a vibrant community event celebrating LGBTIQA+ people and their allies, centring trans and gender diverse individuals. Designed to break down barriers, Picture Me offers a welcoming pop-up space including free access to hair, makeup, and clothing services - supporting everyone to feel confident, seen, and celebrated.

This year, the event will take place at The Hub in Bairnsdale on Saturday, 22 November, featuring live entertainment by local drag performer Magnolia Starr, music by a local DJ, and a free community BBQ.

In partnership with the locally organised Youth Makers Market, the event also showcases the talents of young LGBTIQA+ creatives. Community members will have the opportunity to purchase unique, handmade works and support emerging artists in the region.
