Roller disco and underground music in an underground carpark
We are really excited to bring you the next instalment of the Collingwood Underground Roller Disco as part of this year's Midsumma Festival. Set in the car park of one of Collingwood's most iconic and prominent landmarks, the high rise tower is the home of the Underground Roller Disco. With skating, dancing and a games room on the programme for the day in addition to food and drink, it's an all-ages event you don’t want to miss. Expect only good vibes with Le Soul and more to take you on an underground journey from soul and hip hop through to house and disco. With all your needs taken care of, the one thing to do is "push and kick" down in the roller rink. If you don't have your own skates, we have a hook up with skates for hire.
Coming to you from the underground car park at the Collingwood commission housing, our mission is not only to put on great events, but also to break down social barriers and use the profits to invest back into the community on the estate.
This event takes place on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
