VIC NAIDOC LGBTIQ+ person of the year 2022, Kitty loves to bring their award winning brand of activism to their art. The they/them wrecking mayhem, putting the ow in meow its Kitty Obsidian!

Maxima

Headshot of DJ MaximaMaxima is a queer Narrm-based DJ who loves exploring music from all corners of the globe.

His curiosity for foreign sounds shines through in the music he plays. Expect anything from lush ambient soundscapes and balearic bops through to high energy house, electro-funk, b-side disco and everything in between.

 


Melbourne Gay and Lesbian Chorus

Colourfully dressed large choir with everybody holding their hands in the airMelbourne Gay & Lesbian Chorus is the southern hemisphere's founding LGBTQIA+ choir. MGLC have been associated with Pride March from the very beginning and this year, they’re making a comeback to the Pride March stage to strut their stuff for you!

MGLC sings strengthened by our common struggles, as we bring our music to the queer community and allies to celebrate diversity and pride.


Michelle Parsons

Headshot of Michelle ParsonsMichelle Parsons is a name known to many in the LGBTIQ community of Melbourne, because she's been impressing and entertaining us for over 25 years. Often referred to as a our own Melissa Etheridge, a Dykon and a crowd pleaser, she's been a regular at Midsumma Festival's Goddess Grooves and Carnival Day as well as Daylesford's Chillout Festival. She's played every Melbourne lesbian venue and event to have come and gone since the 90s and gathered a legion of loyal fans along the way. It's been twenty since she last graced the Pride March stage and she can't wait to be back with a set that will rock ya sox off.


Miss Katalyna

Miss Katalyna spinning the decks with mauve lighting and smoke behind themMiss Katalyna is a renowned DJ celebrated for her exceptional music selection from house, drum & bass and R&B as well as a intuitive crowd-reading skill, ensuring each performance is a unique and unforgettable dance floor experience. Having graced the stages of Australia's iconic festivals such as St Kilda Festival, Midsumma Festival, and Bleach Festival (Gold Coast), she has also left her mark as the official DJ for prestigious events like the Blak & Deadly Gala at the Sydney Opera House, performed at Kaftana (Sydney Mardi Gras) and Sydney World Pride. With a special opening set in Sydney in March 2024 and upcoming performances in the UK and USA, Miss Katalyna's is going global with her set.

From the moment she steps onto the stage, Miss Katalyna captivates audiences with infectious energy and an unwavering passion for music. Her dedication extends beyond the DJ booth, where her notable mash-ups continue to make waves. Whether igniting the dance floors of renowned clubs or commanding festival stages, her mission remains clear: to entertain, inspire, and forge a profound connection between music and the soul.
