Music written with children for children

Aunty Bear and ZaZa are two queer, super Aunties from Footscray. They play live music, share stories and sing songs they write in collaboration with children. You may have seen Aunty Bear and ZaZa in the show they wrote with children from Rainbow families called The Rainbow Tree.

This Midsumma Festival you can join them in the Bluestone Church, Footscray, for 45 minutes of playful and interactive musical entertainment. This is a relaxed performance and best suited for ages 3-7. Aunty Bear and ZaZa performances are for all families, especially those who feel they sit outside the expected societal norms of mainstream family representations.
