Bloodlines: Stitch 'n' Bitch
Bring your creative energy to Stitch 'n' Bitch with The Huxleys
This event has booked out - anyone who missed out on tickets but is still interested, please email [email protected].
As part of the Bloodlines exhibition and inspired by the AIDS quilts from the 80’s and 90’s, this communal quilt making workshop invites you to transform images of artists and loved ones who were lost to HIV/AIDS into decorative panels that add to a queer history... never to be forgotten.
Sign up to be a part of an evolving art project that honours those lost to HIV/AIDS, as well as hear from an influential First Nation’s voice from the LGBTQIA+ community, Jacob Boehme.
Please use the CALLOUT! Bloodlines Quilt form to submit your image for the quilt, bring a friend and work on a panel together.
All submissions will receive a promo code for free entry to the workshop, subject to availability.
Originally curated by Jacob Boehme at World Pride and Sydney Festival 2023.
