Queer PHOTO - Tour: An Artsy Queer Bus Ride

Join Queer Icon 2joocee and Queer PHOTO Exhibition Curator, Brendan McCleary, and artists Jake Elwes and Leilani Fuimaono on the queer, arty bus ride of your dreams!

Starting at Footscray Community Arts, join us on a guided bus tour as we journey across the venues within the Queer PHOTO Festival!
2joocee will be your host with the most who will keep you well informed throughout your afternoon adventure.
We will hop on and off the queer bus of your dreams, as we explore each site and hear all about the artists behind the pieces, the message within their work and their interpretation of this festivals theme of 'Queer Futures'.

Our itinerary:

• 12:45pm: You arrive
• 1:00pm: Hello and Welcome with 2Joocee
• 1:05-1:35pm: Footscray Community Arts, including live artist talk from Jake Elwes (Queer PHOTO - The Zizi Show), flying in all the way from the UK. Jake’s work explores otherness, drag and what we can learn from AI.
• 1:40-2pm: Trocadero Art Space
• 2:20-2:50pm: The Substation & The Outside Gallery, including live artist talk from Leilani Fuimaono [Queer PHOTO - So’otaga (Connection)]. Leilani’s exhibition, So’otaga, is a love letter to and from their extended LGBTQIA+ Pasifika community.
• 3:30-3:45pm: Wyndham Art Gallery
• 4:00-4:20pm: Werribee Park Mansion
• 5:00pm: Return to Footscray Community Arts
